Mashmallow Peep Show
How many different things can you make with a Marshmallow Peep? Find out on Sunday, May 5 at Fort Hunter’s Peep Show during Garden Faire, from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Displayed in Fort Hunter Mansion, works of art made from Marshmallow Peeps will be shown in each room of the historic house museum. $5 admission buys 5 tickets to vote for your favorite peep art. Voting will be limited to May 5 only, the top three vote getters will receive a cash prize. The exhibit will continue to be open for viewing as part of the regular Mansion tour through Saturday, May 11.
Artists may submit application with an entry fee of $10 and sketches of their proposed work by March 4 to be considered for the show. Artists will be notified of acceptance by March 18. Click here for the Peep Show Application and registration form. Sponsored by Zimmerman’s Nuts and Candies.
Peeps for purchase have been sighted at Zimmerman’s Nuts and Candies, Dollar Stores, grocery stores, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store, 5 Below and the peeps outlet website.
