Fort Hunter Day
Usher in fall with this annual festival that celebrates the past and simple family pleasures. Sponsored by M&T Bank, visitors will find arts and crafts, children’s games and activities, historic demonstrations and exhibits, entertainment, a bake sale and much more. Archaeologists from the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission will be excavating in the side yard of the Mansion to follow up on discoveries made in past six years that may show where the location of the old 1750’s Fort Hunter.
Throughout the day enjoy musical entertainment on the corncrib stage, in partnership with the Susquehanna Folk Music Society. At 2 pmMal Scoppa and the Tall Tales takes the stage .
