Join Susan Watson as she provides and overview of Red Cross history and the organization’s work in Pennsylvania\, emphasizing Harrisburg\, with topics including disaster response\, early first aid\, water safety\, service to the armed forces\, and the blood program. \nSusan Watson joined the Red Cross in 2000 and is the archivist and manager for historical programs and collections. She administers public programming\, responds to historical inquiries\, oversees the care and conservation of the archival and artifact collections\, and develops exhibits. \nThis virtual\, illustrated talk is free but participants must register to receive a link to view the lecture.
