Built on a bluff overlooking the Susquehanna River, Fort Hunter Mansion and Park has served as a war fort, a hub for frontier commerce, and an exclusive private estate. Now preserved and open to the public, Fort Hunter Mansion and Park invites you to explore Pennsylvania's rich history.
Welcome spring with the Victorians! Browse through plants sales and craft tents, choosing among over forty vendors. New this year, croquet will be demonstrated on the barn green. View Victorian exhibits, dancing and music by Victorian Dance Ensemble & Susquehanna Travellers as well as Maypole dancing by the Society for Creative Anachronism -Shire of the Blak Rose and cakewalks. Tasty food is available at the Café; an art show/sale by the Paxtang Art Association is also offered, enjoy children’s activities and hands on fly fishing demonstrations. Ikebana International will hold their flower show in the barn and the Susquehanna Bonsai Club will display in the Stone Stable.
