Then participants are given the history\, background\, and name of the dance being taught. You’ll also learn where it comes from\, what groups of people are known for that dance\, and why it was done.\nYou’ll go through a breakdown of dance movements to build a complete choreography. Then you’ll learn how to travel down the floor with the movements that you have learned. This helps to build core strength and stability. The class ends with a cool-down stretch. This class will help you improve stamina and build strength while burning lots of calories. AshiaJ AfroCardio\, LLC brings a unique Afrocentric experience to dance fitness where participants will learn Afro Beat dance moves along with signature cardio training dance moves that help shred the core\, strengthen muscles\, and increase flexibility.\nNo dance or fitness experience is needed for this fun\, energetic workshop. ALL levels are encouraged to participate. AfroCardio is where health and wellness meet fitness and culture.
