Needle Arts Tea
Enjoy an afternoon dessert tea consisting of homemade cheesecakes, homemade scones, fresh fruit and sweets and unending cups of tea, a talk with the designers of the needle work on exhibit and a tour of the needle art exhibit.
Lucy Cadwallader will talk about and display some of her hairworks.
Brenda Kocher will explore various types of needlework, their history and how they have evolved through the years in her talk, “Threads Through Time.” She’ll show examples of Or Nué, Schwalm, Hedebo, Silk Gauze, and the use of needlework in Firescreens.
Mother and daughter team Debbie and Donna Lohman will talk about and display their quilting experiences.
