TELLABRATION!™ A WORLDWIDE STORYTELLING CELEBRATION is a round-robin olio, in the informal back porch tradition, where tale spinners will share new and traditional stories to be enjoyed by adults and young people, but not small children.Admission is $6.00 at the door.  Light refreshments will be served.

TELLABRATION!™ is an annual worldwide evening of storytelling, coordinated by the National Storytelling Network, that is traditionally held on the weekend before Thanksgiving all over the United States and in many countries around the world. It was founded more than two decades ago to prove that storytelling is not just for children. Harrisburg’s TELLABRATION!™ is sponsored by the Susquehanna StoryTellers Guild and Fort Hunter Mansion & Park.

The Susquehanna StoryTellers Guild promotes the art and regular practice of storytelling for all ages, from folk tales to personal stories. Its members include storytellers for hire, people who tell for personal enjoyment and “just listeners”. For information about the guild or to locate and book a storyteller, please call Spike Spilker at 737‑8438.
