    Mrs. Reily's Tea

    Mrs. Reily’s Tea is Sold Out for 2022.  Thanks for your interest and hope to see you next year!

    Enjoy an afternoon luncheon tea, an illustrated talk and a tour of Fort Hunter Mansion.

    Begin the afternoon with an illustrated presentation of artist Violet Oakley by Dr. Donald Koones.  Oakley would become the principal artist for the largest amount of murals in the Pennsylvania Capitol and the first woman artist to receive a large commission for adorning a capitol building in the United States.

    Then switch gears for a delightful and delicious luncheon tea consisting of homemade scones, chicken salad and homemade rolls, mini appetizers, fresh fruit, homemade cake, fancy ice cream parfaits and unending cups of tea.

    The afternoon will conclude with a walk through the Mansion and the Gilded Age at Fort Hunter clothing exhibit.

    $35 non-members/$30 members, seating is limited to allow participants to spread out, click here to reserve your seat.

    Yankee Stadium - Yankees vs Orioles Bus Trip

    Summer is coming!

    Celebrate with the Friends of Fort Hunter Hit the Road Educational Tours for a trip to Yankee Stadium to watch the New York Yankees take on the Baltimore Orioles.

    Trip Includes:

    • Transportation and ticket to game on Monday, May 23 in section 214 A (near first base) – great seats! (Yankee game ticket will be emailed directly to you from Yankee Stadium)
    • Ticket includes a free hot dog or chicken tenders, fries and choice of beer, soda or water
    • Dr. Donald Koones will give an exciting talk on Yankee Stadium’s rich history as well as historic memories of baseball greats Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe Dimaggio, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra and more!
    • Comfort stops
    • Bus departs at 1:00 p.m. from Fort Hunter Park for New York (boarding begins at 12:45) and returns to Fort Hunter Park by 2:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 24
    • Bus driver tip not included

    The Dauphin County Commissioners and M&T Bank  present the Proudly PA! Festival.  Celebrate all the best that Pennsylvania has to offer!

    Savor locally sourced foods while enjoying music performed by several amazing bands who got their start right here in Pennsylvania – check back soon for more details.

    Wine, Craft Beer, and Distilled Spirits will be available for purchase showcasing some of the best products from across the state. Sip your favorites as you also enjoy a fine gathering of craft vendors with unique items for every style. Each guest will receive a Proudly PA! souvenir glass at the event.

    Bring lawn chairs and picnic baskets. Outside alcohol is not permitted.

    Guests who are fully vaccinated are not currently required to wear face coverings for this event.
