Participants will create a whimsical succulent fairy garden planter to enjoy indoors over the cooler months ahead. It also makes a nice gift for the upcoming holiday season! The ladies at Plantscapes will provide all the materials and tips/tricks on caring for your arrangement. The workshop includes succulents\, sedum\, fairy\, soil\, and a brown garden bowl (8″W X 3″H). There will be a variety of additional fairy garden items available for purchase at a low price (fencing\, pond crystals\, sand\, walkway stones\, mushrooms\, etc.) or you can feel free to bring along some of your own additional items.

Falls are the leading cause of fatal and nonfatal injuries among persons aged 65 and older.   \nJoin us for this Balance and Fall Prevention workshop with Madden & Gilbert Physical Therapy where we’ll cover:  \n1 – The biggest mistake balance sufferers can make  \n2 – The three major components of balance control  \n3 – How to get up from the ground after a fall  \n4 – What successful treatment for those struggling with falls and balance problems looks like  \nThis workshop will be taught by Dr. Dan Hinnerschitz who has 10+ years of experience in treating folks who have a history of falling due to decreased balance. This is a free workshop as part of the Park Rx Series of programs sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield.
