This session offers a meaningful way to unwind\, connect\, and explore how simple creative practices support emotional wellness. Participants can choose to create a Mother’s Day–inspired terrarium or simply enjoy the experience as a relaxing\, nature‑based activity. This Art Heals program invites the community to slow down\, craft something beautiful\, and embrace the restorative benefits of the Park Rx approach. \nThe cost is $47 per participant which includes instruction and all materials. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Participants must be at least 10 years of age or older. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult. SUMMARY:Fort Hunter Volunteer Cleanup Day
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a spring cleanup day at Fort Hunter.  Volunteers will be picking up trash/debris around the park (especially along the tow path and riverbank) as well as removing some of the park’s most invasive species.  No equipment or prior knowledge/experience necessary\, but work gloves encouraged.  Pizza and drinks will be provided for volunteers at lunchtime.  We look forward to a fun and productive day making our park even more beautiful.
