July 20 Brewfest – Heat Advisory update!

Advance Brewfest tickets are sold out, a limited number of regular priced tickets are available at the door, first come, first served.

As a precaution for the extreme heat see provisions below:

We are just a few days away from the 2019 Dauphin County BrewFest sponsored by Visit Hershey Harrisburg! With this weekend’s impending heat, we wanted to take a moment to go over a few items to make your experience more enjoyable!

Where do I park?
Parking is available in the Fort Hunter Park field (Barn side of the park) and will be clearly marked for your ease.

When does the event start?
We will start checking IDs, taking tickets and wrist banding guests at 2:00 pm.
Gates open at 3:00 pm.

What can I bring with me?
Coolers with ice and sealed non-alcoholic beverages.
Pack a lawn chair. (Chairs with roofs are acceptable!)
Anything and everything that will keep you cool! (Personal misting fans are OK!)

What should I leave at home?
Canopies and Umbrellas (The event area is about 60% shaded!)
Camelbak Hydration Backpacks (Unless they are empty upon arrival and are filled with water once inside the event!)
Your pets (We love fido but we want to keep them safe too!)

What else have we done to help you stay cool during the event?
We secured an additional 1,000 bottles of water!
We have added 2 water misting stations near the restrooms.
The Barn will be air conditioned should you need to escape the heat (no alcohol allowed).
Cooling Bandannas will be available for purchase from the Friends of Fort Hunter for a very nominal fee.
We ordered 2,000 lbs of additional ice to keep your beverages cold.
We booked an additional EMT for safety.

What do I do if I need another ticket?
$35 advance tickets are sold out. 25 – $50 tickets will be available at the gate on Saturday beginning at 1:30 pm. Cash or Credit Card will be accepted.

Designated Driver tickets are still available at $15 each (both online and at the door).

What other things should I know?
We have an ATM on site.
The Friends of Fort Hunter will be selling pretzel necklaces (by donation).
The following food vendors will be onsite: The Chicken Truck, Mad Dash Grilled Cheese, Derby Dash Kettle Corn, Gnaw Jaw (BACON ON A STICK, FOLKS!), Soul Burrito, and Bon Appetit Creperie.
We provide free water and drinks to all guests at the Designated Driver’s booth sponsored by Renewal by Andersen of Central PA.
We encourage you to visit the Fort Hunter Mansion during the event!
