Get creative and hands-on as you design your own unique cactus mosaic. This is a beginner-level workshop hosted by Amanda from Mosaic Montage, and no prior experience is needed. During the class, you will be given a 10” tall painted wood cactus cut out and a washable water-based glue. You will get to pick from many shades of green machine-tumbled glass, as well as every other color of the rainbow for your cactus’s pot. You can pick one color or all of them! You will learn the basics of making a mosaic and about the supplies needed to create your work of art. Since the glass is machine-tumbled, it is sea glass smooth and safe to handle. You will be able to take your cactus home with you at the end of the class. All materials needed for this workshop will be supplied to you as part of your registration fee. The class length is approximately 2 hours. The class is appropriate for those age 8 and older. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
