Enjoy an afternoon luncheon tea, an illustrated talk, and a visit to the Mansion special exhibit.
Begin the afternoon with an illustrated presentation “Exploring The Wyeth Dynasty and an Iconic Masterpiece” presentation by Dr. Donald Koones. Chester County, Pennsylvania may certainly boast regarding its place in the world of art. After all, it is the home to three (3) generations of Wyeth’s including Newell Convers (NC), Andrew, and Jamie. You’ll learn more about this artistic family with special emphasis on the life of Anna Christina Olson and one of the best-known paintings of the mid-twentieth century, “Christina’s World.”
Then switch gears for a delightful and delicious luncheon tea consisting of homemade scones, chicken salad, savory and sweet treats, and unending cups of tea. The afternoon will conclude with a walk through the Fort Hunter Mansion.
Raffle prizes will be available onsite with the purchase of raffle tickets – $1 per ticket or $5 for 6 tickets.
